Amortization schedule excel template is 1 page amortization worksheet that allows to calculate yearly amortization cost for up to 12 assets for five years.
The model has build in amortization percentages for the following methods:
- SL - Straight Line
- SOYD - Sum-of-the-Year's- Digits
- DDB 150% - Double Declining Balance
- DDB 200% - Double Declining Balance
You will need to input Life-of-project spending of an asset; year when amortization started for this asset, select amortization key from the drop-down list (amortization key is amortization method for a specific asset class).
The worksheet will automatically calculate prior years accumulated amortization, current year amortization, and project amortization cost for the next four year.
